Description:

Join me on a weekend bike camping trip to Willow River State Park, about 7 miles north of Hudson, WI. The park has a fabulous waterfall, prairie and woodland hiking trails, a lake swimming beach and opportunities to rent kayaks or canoes to explore the lake, backwaters and Willow River channel up to the falls. We’ll depart from the Edgcumbe Rec Center (320 Griggs St S. Saint Paul, MN 55105), where on-street parking is available. One-way distance is approximately 35 miles, with one or two major hills (6% grade) en route. We will camp in a group site. You will be responsible for your own meals. Shared costs will be for camping fees and potentially firewood. Camping gear and bike panniers are available through the Rovers gear locker! Contact me with any questions.
