Biking, Hiking, and Watching Lumberjacks — Hayward, Wisconsin

Category: Hiking, Bicycling, Summer Trips, Camping

Sat - MonJul 25 - Jul 272015
  • Estimated Cost: $50
  • Max Trip Size: 12 people
Description:

Join us in Hayward, Wisconsin to watch the Lumberjack World Championships! Saturday we plan to go mountain biking — there are miles and miles of trails in the area ranging from beginner to advanced. You can ride forest roads alongside beautiful lakes, roll along double-track ski trails, or cruise through some twisty, flowy single-track trails. If you don’t have a mountain bike, rentals are available in Hayward. If biking is not your thing, you can choose to hike instead.

After we hit the trails, we’ll head into Hayward to grab a bite to eat and watch the Lumberjack World Championships.

Sunday we’ll hit the trails again and perhaps take a swim at a nearby beach to get refreshed before heading home.

Stay in our rustic cabin (or camp outside) Friday and Saturday night. Meals are on your own.
