Description:

At Charles Lindbergh State Park from June 16-18 there will be campsites and opportunities for bicycling, hiking, kayaking and canoeing. This weekend is also Dam Festival 2017 in Little Falls with street dancing both nights, a parade, and opportunities to visit museums. Saturday evening we will have a supper pot-luck so bring a dish to share.(the rest of the meals on your own) There is a community bike ride breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Meet at Charles Lindbergh State Park on 6/16 at campsite number 37 to be.assigned one of five campsites reserved. In need of larger tents to comply with park rules. There are biking, hiking trails, rental for canoes and kayaks at Shirley Mae’s Outfitter telephone number 320-414-0382 Little Falls Minnesota.

Also at Shirley Mae’s,one can register for the Dam bike trip ride of 20 or 40 miles at 9 a.m. Saturday. Decisions will be made regarding collectively when to paddle, how far, and when to watch the parade or participate in the street dance etc.
A Festival Foods, food vendors, and restaurants are fairly close to the park..

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
