- Max Trip Size: 15 people
If you are interested in birds or just interested in finding out if you might be interested, join this spring’s birding walks. The walks are on Thursdays, with the last one on Thursday, May 27. No experience is required, but experienced birders are welcome and encouraged to come and help. We will locate and identify birds, as well as talk about them.
At this time, given the concerns about COVID, the number of participants is limited to 15 people for each walk. Please let me know by email, text or phone call if you intend to participate. That way, we can keep the number of people at a level which ensures that everyone is comfortable. If the situation changes for the better, this requirement may change from one week to the next. Membership in Rovers is not required, and beginning birders (or those curious to find out what it is about and who does this type of thing) are welcome.
Please do not wear whites or brightly-colored clothing; wear clothing to fit the weather, including boots for potentially muddy trails—pet dogs cannot be included on the walks. Bring binoculars if you have them, a smile, and a friendly attitude. Email or call if you have questions ([email protected] 651-283-4477).
