Description:I’m going over to Shakopee this Saturday morning for a low-key walk along the Minnesota River. This is an outing organized by The Scott County Historical Society and Urban Bird Collective. Their event includes a brief conversation with a nature photographer exhibiting at the Historical Society’s museum followed by a bird watching walk along the river. This is definitely a kids-are-welcome sort of thing. Here is the info:
I’ll be there at 8:20 a.m. The event starts promptly at 8:30 at the museum: 235 Fuller Street South, Shakopee, MN, 55379 (plenty of parking out front and in a lot behind the building). The museum is a few blocks from the Minnesota River. Bring binoculars if you have them. Urban Bird Collective guides will have some extras, if needed.
Send me an email if you’re interested in joining me, so we can find each other at the event.
