Ski or snowshoe on the most fun candlelight tour of all, Book Across the Bay, with 1,000 luminaries and bonfires along the 10-kilometer course on Chequamegon Bay between Ashland and Washburn, Wis. We’re staying a short walk from the finish at an old church/retreat center in Washburn. We’ll also visit the ice caves near Cornucopia and ski/snowshoe at Mount Valhalla and Mount Ashwabay (some people may want to drive over to Madeline Island). Cost includes three nights’ lodgings, three breakfasts and Sunday dinner. Sign up for Book Across the Bay on your own ($15, including post-race chili feed and music). Estimated cost: $95. Deposit: $75. Max trip size: 12.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
