Description:

This is a self-supported backpack trip into the BWCA for trail maintenance on the Border Route Trail.  We will have a meet and great at the Trail Center Lodge Restaurant for lunch (lunch not included) at 12:00 before driving to the Meyhew Lake Trail Head.  From there we will backpack about 1.6 miles and set up base camp at Sock Lake.  Use hand tools and clear dead-falls and brush from Sock Lake to Topper Lake.

Personal gear and meals are on you own.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
