BRT Spring maintenance trip — McFarland Lk., East Cook, MN

Description:

We will be trail clearing the Border Route Trail as it goes into the BWCA, heading west from McFarland Lake. We hope to clear the trail from the trailhead to get to the McFarland-Pike portage.
We will meet at the McFarland Lake campground Thursday night May 23rd, We will camp there for the weekend. We will hike in Friday, Saturday and Sunday, leaving Monday May 27th.
Each participant will be responsible for bringing their own food and water for the weekend.
The group limit is nine.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
