BWCA Canoeing — Brule Lake, MN

Description:

BWCA Canoe Trip at Brule Lake, depending on the participants’ ability to carry canoes or not carry them, we could portage and camp on another lake or stay on Brule Lake and base camp for four days.  We will leave the Twin Cities on Friday evening at 6pm.

We will be camping that evening near Sawbill Lake and get the permits there and rent canoes, if we have to.

Group costs include reservation, permits, campground fee and food.  Renting one canoe would cost $50/day.  A $50 deposit is required.  (Car gas cost not included)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
