BWCAW Canoe Trip

Wed - SunSep 22 - Sep 262010
  • Estimated Cost: $100
  • Deposit: $50
  • Max Trip Size: 6 people
Description:

Lake One Near Ely. This will be an easy and relaxing trip. We’ll drive up to Ely on Wednesday evening and car camp, then begin paddling Thursday. We’ll just paddle for a few hours until we find a nice campsite and stay there for 3 nights, spending the days exploring, reading, napping, fishing – whatever suits you. Paddle out Sunday, back home by late afternoon. Looking for a mix of all paddling experience levels. Beginners are welcome but you should be okay with night time temperatures dipping below 32 degrees (avg temps 40-60 degrees). Meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept 22 at the parking lot across from the Roseville REI. The Rover canoes will not be available so we will have to rent them in Ely, which adds $35 per person to the typical cost. Estimated cost: $100. Deposit: $50. Max trip size: 6.
