Canine Campout!

Fri - MonJul 6 - Jul 92012
  • Estimated Cost: $12
  • Deposit: $12
  • Max Trip Size: 30 people
Description:

This weekend is for the dogs! Treat your canine Rover to his or her very own campout at Carver Park Reserve just southwest of the Twin Cities. We’ll stay at the Zumbro group campsite with easy access to hiking trails and paddling. A 26-acre off-leash dog park is an easy quarter mile walk down the road.

Park rules state that dogs must be on a 6-foot non-retractable leash any time they’re not in the dog park. Your dog should be tolerant of other dogs and should reliably follow basic commands (come, sit, quiet, etc). You must clean up after your dog at all times.

Rover membership is required for this trip, however, you do not have to own a dog. Families, beginners and dog-lovers are welcome. Meals and food are on your own. If you need equipment from the Rovers cage, please reserve equipment early with Cage coordinators.

Estimated cost: $12 + $5/day dog park. Deposit: $12. Max trip size: 30 people/12 dogs.
