Join Great River Greening’s volunteer restoration event as we transform an 11-acre field into a wildlife haven by planting 2,000 bare-root trees and shrubs at Cedar Creek Conservation Area located in Oak Grove. This area is new to the Anoka County Park system and features native landscapes including wetlands, marshes, woodlands, prairie and over two miles of shoreline on the Rum River and Cedar Creek. Contact Shelly to sign up and she’ll send more information on what to bring that day along with directions and maps.
