Trip Full Wait List OpenCategory: Hiking, Camping

Fri - SunSep 7 - Sep 92018
  • Estimated Cost: $12
  • Deposit: $12
  • Max Trip Size: 14 people
Description:
Who wants to chase waterfalls on the north shore?  We’ll be camping at the group site at Cascade River State Park on Friday and Saturday nights and hiking in seven state parks (from Gooseberry to Grand Portage) using this waterfalls road trip as our itinerary.  (It’s a perfect opportunity to work on your State Park Passport!)
 Bring your own food, snacks, beverages, plates/utensils, lawn chair and camping gear. You can borrow tents and sleeping bags from the gear locker, but you need to make advance arrangements with a gear coordinator to reserve, pick-up and return items (contact [email protected]). Meals will be on your own with a pot-luck dinner on Saturday. Carpooling is highly recommended due to limited parking.  State Park admission fee/sticker required.
Trip cost is estimated at $12 per person, plus gas and state park admission.  Deposit of $12 and current membership is required to confirm your spot.  Deposit is refundable until August 24. Contact Christy for registration.
If this trip fills up quickly, we’d be happy to mentor a new coordinator who can run a second trip in tandem with this one.
Coordinator(s):
