Hopefully we’ll have a fresh layer of snow! Meet at 3:00pm in the parking lot by the Thomas C. Savage Visitor Center, which is at the far end of the park, about a mile past the ranger station.
The Pike Island perimeter trail is 3 miles and groomed for classic only. The terrain is flat except for the small bridge that leads out to Pike Island. The Visitor Center has restrooms but they close at 4pm. Socializing afterward TBD based on group consensus.
A state park pass is required to enter the park (one permit per vehicle), and a Minnesota Ski Pass is required for trail use. Ski passes can be purchased in advance online or at the ranger station at the park entrance. Park location: 101 Snelling Lake Rd, St Paul, MN 55111.
Non-members are welcome but need to submit the liability waiver below.
Please text or email to let me know if you’re planning to come.
