- Max Trip Size: 10 people
This trip is for those who have some climbing experience and want to learn and practice top rope anchor setting.
If you have gear, bring it! We also have loaner gear available. Either way, HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.
You do not need to be at the Extravaganza to attend, nor do you need to be a Rovers member. However, if you are not a current Rovers member, you must fill out the trip waiver below.
We will be setting anchors and climbing in one of the Interstate State Parks. Which side of the river is TBD- there is a climbing stewardship event happening in the area the same weekend and the crowds may determine where we set our climbs. You will need a corresponding park pass (Minnesota or Wisconsin) depending on where we end up.
Please make sure you put an accurate phone number in the Google Form and watch for emails/texts for updates, especially before you make the drive up. Since the day will be a little flexible, I will send out info by text as needed (i.e. where we determine we can climb).
Bring snacks, water, and comfortable clothes that can get a little scuffed and dirty. There are bathrooms available in both parks, but we may not necessarily be close to them.
If you plan to come, please fill out THIS FORM to register.
