Cross-Country Ski and Snow Shoe

Fri - SunMar 5 - Mar 72010
  • Estimated Cost: $90
  • Deposit: $70
  • Max Trip Size: 14 people
Description:

The Heartwood Conference Center is a fabulous get-away in the woods of northern Wisconsin, just 125 miles from St. Paul. The accommodations are great as are the skiing opportunities. We can ski and snowshoe on-site, go to the Birkie trails near Hayward, and stop at the Cumberland Trails on the way home. We will occupy an entire duplex, each ½ duplex is self-contained with a full kitchen, living room with a fireplace, 4 bedrooms, and full bathroom. Only 2 people per bedroom! To save on costs, we will do our own cooking and pack bag lunches. Trip cost includes 2 nights lodging, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and Saturday evening dinner. We will help arrange carpooling closer to the trip dates. A $70 deposit is required to hold your spot for this trip, no exceptions. Rover membership is required. We will hold 4 spots until February 1 for NEW ROVERS that have joined since Spring 2009. If you are not yet a Rover, this means you, too. Joining is easy and just $25 per year. Estimated cost: $90. Deposit: $70. Max trip size: 14.
