Cross-Country Ski at Fort Snelling

Description:

Cross-country ski on the flat, groomed trail on Pike Island at Fort Snelling. Meet at 1 p.m. at the trailhead at the end of the parking lot. The Pike Island trail is just over 5K in length, is very flat, is good for novices – it’s a good place to work on your striding. Daily park vehicle fee is $5 unless you have an annual park sticker. A MN State Ski Pass is also required – a $6 day pass is available at the park office. This trip is open to non-members.
