Description:

Cross Country Skiing and/or Snowshoeing in Bayfield, WI.

Join us for 2 or 3 days of cross skiing, and/or snowshoeing in Bayfield,  WI.,  and if Lake Superior is frozen we will go to the ice caves and drive out to Madeline Island. There is also a small downhill ski place.  We are staying in an old bed and breakfast (which has a 4-person sauna) that Seagull Bay Motel owns. It overlooks Lake Superior and you can snowshoe from the motel down the Brownstone Trail. There are also five motel rooms that we will be occupying. People have the option of staying an extra night (leave Monday morning).

It’s a fun trip that fills up fast!  Four spots will be saved for new Rovers (or for Rovers that have never been on this trip) until Dec. 31st.

Costs include lodging + meals (Sat. meals & Sunday breakfast and lunch). Meals on your own: lunch and supper on Friday, Sunday supper, Monday meals.

Vaccination is not required.  Frank has to be tested (it’s free) weekly for Covid-19 for work.  Those not feeling well the week of the trip can contact Jerry and get a full refund (checks will be shredded).
