Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing — Bayfield, WI

Trip Full Wait List OpenCategory: Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing / Hiking

Fri - SunFeb 3 - Feb 52023
  • Estimated Cost: $150
  • Deposit: $50
  • Max Trip Size: 16 people
Description:

Join us for 2 days of cross skiing, and/or snowshoeing in Bayfield,  WI., and if Lake Superior is frozen we will go to the ice caves and drive out to Madeline Island. There is also a small downhill ski place.  We are staying in an old bed and breakfast that Seagull Bay Motel owns. It overlooks Lake Superior and you can snowshoe from the motel down the Brownstone Trail.

It’s a fun trip that fills up fast.

Costs include lodging + meals (Sat. meals & Sunday breakfast and lunch). Meals on your own: lunch and supper on Friday.  Those that are not retired usually take Friday off from work.

Vaccination is not required.  Masks, vaccinations, and social distancing are not required; you are welcome to do all 3 but do not expect anyone else to.

Trip Size:  13 -16 depending if we get 3 couples that don’t mind sharing a bed.

Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited — each car takes care of the cost.

Looking for 2 – 3 people to help with meals.
