Description:

Three nights at the National Forest Lodge (NFL) within the Superior National Forest near Isabella, MN on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Sleep in log cabins (2-10 capacity each) all meals served in lodge. 30km groomed, single-track XC ski trails & 5 miles marked showshoe trails. Potential kite-boarding opportunity (must bring your own snow board or downhill skis). Sledding hill, outdoor hot tub, lakeside sauna, and “polar plunge” opportunity in hole in the ice. Live music Saturday evening. Must provide your own bedding/linens – see link to National Forest Lodge for bed size, area maps, etc.

Estimated cost: $207 rustic or $272 at modern cabin. Deposit: $50. Max trip size:40.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
