Cross-Country Skiing at ABR over New Year’s Weekend — Ironwood, MI

Category: Cross Country Skiing, Winter Trips, Winter Camping

Fri - MonDec 30 - Jan 22016
  • Estimated Cost: $200
  • Deposit: $100
  • Max Trip Size: 8 people
Description:

The U.P. gets much more snow — and sooner than we do, so we are virtually guaranteed great ski conditions.

Both ABR and Wolverine, near Ironwood, MI, have a nice mix of trails for everyone including: skate, classic, and snowshoeing.

We’ll be staying 3 nights (heading up Friday morning, returning Monday evening) in a house near Ironwood, Michigan — which is ~15 minutes from the XC ski trails. Bedding is provided, just bring your ski gear. We’ll do all meals as a group, maybe going out on the town for dinner one night. Participants willing to help with the menu get first dibs for this trip!
