Description:

60k of scenic well-groomed cross-country ski trails weave through the Superior National Forest at Giants Ridge. Two-day XC trail pass is included in cost estimate. Or of course, there is also great downhill skiing. We will be staying 3 nights at the Sports Dorm, where we have 3 rooms, each with 2 bunk-beds. It has a limited kitchen facility, where we will make our own breakfasts (i.e., oatmeal or cereal) and bag lunches, except for Sunday, when we will treat ourselves to one of their yummy breakfasts. We will go out for dinners at the resort or in Biwabik, just a few minutes away. Estimated cost: $100 + dinners & gas. Deposit: $70. Max trip size: 12.
