Cross-Country Skiing at Hyland

Sat, 6:00amJan 42014
  • Max Trip Size: 15 people
Description:

Join us on the first Saturday of 2014 to cross-country ski at Hyland Lake Park Reserve in Bloomington (near 494 and Highway 100)! We’ll meet at Hyland Park’s Visitor’s Center at 12:30 so that we can be ready to be skiing at 1:00. We’ll plan to ski till about 4:00 (although you can stop earlier or later, if you want). The park’s website has a winter map which shows trails ranging from “least difficult” to “extremely difficult.” You can also access directions from that page. Possibility of hot chocolate at the Visitor’s Center. (If you prefer to snowshoe, there are 3.5 miles of trails for that.) Non-members are welcome on this day trip!

Estimated cost: Ski pass ($5 for day or $50 for season). Max trip size: 15ish.
