Thu - SunFeb 6 - Feb 92014
  • Estimated Cost: $210
  • Deposit: $170
  • Max Trip Size: 12 people
Description:

60k of scenic, well-groomed cross-country ski trails weave through the Superior National Forest at Giants Ridge. There is also great downhill skiing and snowshoeing. We will be staying 3 nights at the ski in / ski out Lodge, where we will book 2-3 rooms, each with 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette. The lodge also has a restaurant, bar, pool, and hot tub!

This is our fourth year doing this trip – the trails and camaraderie are just awesome!

A few highlights:

  • 60k of some of the BEST cross-country ski and snowshoe trails in the state, woven through a national forest – suitable for every level of skier
  • 32 downhill ski runs, 7 lifts, 202 acres, 500 ft. vertical
  • One of the XC trails is aptly named the “Toilet Bowl” – you’ll know it when you ski it!

Estimated cost: $210 + possible dinner out, ski passes, and transportation. Deposit: $170. Max trip size: 12-18.
