Description:

Spend Martin Luther King weekend — 3 nights, 3+days at the National Forest Lodge within the Superior National Forest, approximately 4 hours from the Twin Cities, on Highway 1 between Ely and Isabella.

Amenities include an outdoor hot tub, wood sauna, polar plunge, 30k groomed Classic XC ski trails (classic only), snowshoeing on& off trail, sledding and possibly kite-boarding.

Includes all meals& clean-up provided – Friday supper thru Monday lunch, which is 9 prepared meals included in the price.

Accommodations: Modern Log Home ($358.87 per person) sleeps 6-10 (has plumbing), Big Pine Shorty’s ($309.82) sleeps 4-6 (has plumbing), Many Rustic Cabins ($273.67pp) sleep 2-8 (for all cabins BYO bed sheets) and new this year the White Pine Retreat ($358.87pp) sleeps 2-4, has indoor plumbing.

We will hold 3 spots for FIRST TIME ON THIS TRIP ROVERS and 3 spots for NEW 2017 ROVERS (less than 1 year) until NOV 15th.

We will email additional information once your deposit is received. Deposit is non-refundable unless we can replace your spot.

Rovers have been frequenting the NFL for decades and this NFL on MLK has filled rather quickly for many years!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
