Description:

Crosscut saw certification for trail work on USFS land, for trail workers only.
Rum River North County Park, 23100 Rum River Blvd. NW, St. Francis, MN 55070 Entrance to park is immediately west of the high school and the building is straight west near the river. Hands on portion will be at Lake George Reginal Park, about 2 miles south.
You need an accredited First-Aid certificate with CPR to be certified, leather gloves, safety glasses (some provided), hearing protection (some provided).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
