You are on your own for event participation and fees and food…. but….the housing is free………..

Unfurnished, unoccupied, warm West Duluth 2 story home available at no charge. Fridge, small microwave, stove, washer/dryer available. 2 bedrooms + sleeping space on living/dining room floor. Bring your own cots, pads, bedding, pots, pans, dishes, food, etc. Restaurants/fast food nearby.

I will arrive 9am Friday and stay till Sunday 6pm. Let me know your timeline.

Options:
1) Attend the first annual DULUTH ICE FESTIVAL at CASKET QUARRY 4 blocks away. Follow links for pricing, rentals, clinics @ http://duluthclimbers.org. (call soon to secure rentals) Most events free Fri nite-Sun am. I paid $25 for clinic and reserved ice climbing gear via website link.

2) SPIRIT MOUNTAIN fees for skiing, tubing, fat biking @ website – http://spiritmt.com open day and evening – 10 minutes away

3) VERTIAL ENDEAVORS CLIMBING GYM is open daily and admission fees are 1/2 price Sundays in Duluth with your Rover membership. Details @ website: http://verticalendeavors.com/duluth – 15 minutes away

4) Hike the CANAL PARK LAKEWALK and visit shops on the way – 15 minutes away.

Driveway parking guaranteed for 3 cars. Street parking may be a problem during day on Sat due to nearby festival, otherwise no problem. May want to carpool and will send link later. I grew up in Duluth. This old family home is for sale but will not be shown that weekend. Please no adult beverages or smoking in the house, thanks.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
