Let’s head across into Wisconsin for this week’s exploration of natural areas near the St. Croix River Valley.
Carpenter Nature Center is an environmental education center with campuses on both sides of the river. The Wisconsin campus is just a few miles south of Hudson. We will explore the Ridgeline, Indigo, and Goldenrod Trails, looking and listening for migrating birds, frogs, spring flowers, and whatever else we can find.
We will meet at the 300 East Cover Road location of the WI Campus.

Please bring binoculars if you have them, dress for the weather, and expect to encounter ticks and mud. If people are interested, we can head to a local watering hole after the walk.
This day trip is open to non-members as well as all Rovers members. If you are not a member, you will need to sign a liability waiver (below).
