Join us for a hike at Eastman Nature Center (part of Elm Creek Park Reserve)! Meet us at the Eastman Nature Center at 10:30 a.m. We’ll start hiking promptly after a quick round of introductions. The trails at Eastman Nature Center will take in prairie vistas, forested spaces, and possibly a floating boardwalk. Plan on about 3ish miles and about 60-90 minutes. This won’t be a fast hike (maybe 3 mph?), but you’re welcome to go faster if you want. Afterwards, those who are interested can socialize for a bit inside the Nature Center. You may also want to take a few minutes to check out the Nature Center itself.
Three Rivers Park District is sponsoring a Fall Adventure Passport. Visit the nine featured parks or nature centers and have them stamp your passport. If you get all nine stamps, you can visit the Administrative Center and get a prize. Passports are available at the parks, if you want to join the fun!
Bring water/coffee/hot chocolate and a snack and dress for the weather and to hike. And let us know if you are coming, so we’ll know to look for you.
The address for Eastman Nature Center is 13351 Elm Creek Boulevard, Dayton, MN 55369. The phone number is 763-694-7700.
