The BWCAW is awesome in the fall-fewer bugs, cooler weather, and fewer crowds. Initial night at a state forest campground then 5 nights in the wilderness…probably moving camp site at least once with chances for interesting day excursions into nearby lakes and rivers. Some paddling experience required.
