Description:

Stay one night or two. This is a great opportunity for those with kids to bring them out and introduce them to camping. If you don’t have children borrow a niece, nephew, or a friend’s kid/s! Cage items are available if needed. Carver Park Reserve is a beautiful park on the far side of Lake Minnetonka. Activity options including: hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, and bird watching. The park also is home to the Lowry Nature Center, Grimm Farm Historic Site and King Waterbird Sanctuary, The Meals are on your own but the shared cost will include camping, firewood and s’mores. In the spirit of Rovers, we encourage you to bring reusable utensils. No pets.

Estimated cost: $5 per person per night. Deposit: $10 per person. Max trip size: 35.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
