Hey, birders (and those people just interested in a good story)! Ghost Bird is a feature length documentary about an extinct giant woodpecker, a small town in Arkansas hoping to reverse it misfortunes, and the tireless odyssey of the bird-watchers and scientists searching for the “Holy Grail” of birds, the elusive ivory-billed woodpecker. A panel discussion follows the screening. Movie is at 7:00 p.m. at the U’s Bell Museum of Natural History. We will meet in the lobby at 6:45 p.m. to buy tickets. If there is interest, we’ll gather at some Dinkytown watering hole afterward.
