Ghosts of Anoka Tour

Sat, 5:00amOct 82011
  • Estimated Cost: $7
  • Deposit: $7
  • Max Trip Size: 24 people
Description:

Adventurous types will want to join a brave group of Rovers for the Anoka County Historical Society Ghosts of Anoka tour. It is a skillful weaving together of history, conjecture, and fact, sprinkled with a flair for the dramatic and seasoned by good story telling. Stories abound in Anoka of odd happenings and eerie encounters. There is a house where the rocking chair rocks with no one sitting in it. There are doors that lock themselves, displays that change on their own, cold drafts…might they all speak of things unexplained? Meet at 7:00 p.m. – tour leaves promptly at 7:15 p.m. Optional socializing beforehand. Location: Anoka (Halloween Capital of the World!) Estimated cost: $7, plus optional food. Deposit: $7 (non-refundable). Max trip size: 24.
