Description:

Leave Friday morning to arrive in western Minnesota’s Glacial Lakes State Park in time to Snowshoe to the Peak, a three-mile guided trek to the highest point. The park also has groomed and ungroomed cross country ski trails, hills for moonlight sledding, and good ice fishing nearby. We should have time for hiking and photography, quinzy building, campfire cookery, and board games.

Lodging will be in the heated but cozy camper cabins, each with four bunks. Limited facilities available.

$5/day for ski pass. Rental snowshoes $6/day, reserve your size in advance. Estimated cost: $65. Deposit: $40. Max trip size: 8.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
