Great Midwest Crane Festival 2026 — Baraboo, WI

Sat - SunNov 14 - Nov 152026
  • Estimated Cost: $300
  • Max Trip Size: 10 people
Description:

Come join us for the Great Midwest Crane Festival 2026. This gives you an opportunity to see all the cranes in the world at the International Crane Festival and to spend the weekend attending presentations, workshops, guided tours, other special events and support the world’s cranes. You will be responsible for getting your own festival tickets and hotel reservations. More information about the festival is here.

You need to buy tickets for the main event which you can buy here. You can also buy tickets for add-on events, including sandhill crane viewing, at the same location, which are selling out rapidly.

You can also download an FAQ from this location.

We plan to stay at a hotel Friday and Saturday night and have decided to stay at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Baraboo. There is a list of hotels with discounts for the festival here.

Another option that we did last year is to stay an extra night and visit nearby Devil’s Lake the next day.

Please email us if you plan on attending so we can look out for you and answer any questions you may have.
