Registration is open for the annual Halloween trip to Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center near Lansboro MN, 2 hours SE of the TC. This is the same location as our October 2019 Rover Halloween trip!
As previously part of your trip cost, you will have the opportunity to choose one Eagle Bluff staff-coordinated indoor or outdoor activity (high ropes course, archery, Team Challenge). In addition, daytime Rover-lead activities might include hiking, and biking (road and trail). On Saturday evening, we will have our always popular Halloween Party with costume and pumpkin carving contests!
Due to the indoor, heated nature of this venue with communal sleeping arrangements, and after informally polling potential Rover attendees, your coordinators have heard that an overwhelming percentage of Rovers prefer a confirmation that all attendees be fully vaccinated (by October 13). Full vaccination is defined as 2 doses of Pfizer / Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine by October 14. So that no one needs to miss this trip, here is a link for local, free, vaccine administration: https://mn.gov/covid19/vaccine/find-vaccine/locations/index.jsp
Eagle Bluff has dorm-style rooms with en-suite bathrooms. There are only 4 people per room so everyone can sleep on a bottom bunk. The Center will provide meals from Friday dinner through Sunday brunch (5 meals!!) and can accommodate most diets. As of right now, Eagle bluff is also requiring masks to be properly worn in common/public areas.
Eagle Bluff deadlines require that registrations must end on October 13.
Ten spots will be reserved until October 3rd for new Rovers who have joined since January, 2020.
