Help re-supply Dave & Amy’s 365-days in the BWCA — Moose Lake BWCA, Minnesota

Category: Cross Country Skiing, Other, Winter Trips, Snowshoeing / Hiking, Winter Camping

Fri - TueJan 29 - Feb 22016
  • Estimated Cost: $50
  • Max Trip Size: 6 people
Description:

We will go up on Friday, January 29th spending the night at the headquarters for the fundraiser. We will head out early Saturday morning and come back on Monday, February 1st. The plan is to setup a base camp near where Dave and Amy are camping and then do a day trip on Sunday to visit nearby lakes. Sleds are available in the Rovers cage. You should have previous winter camping experience to attend this trip. It will be cold. Temperatures typically reach -30 to -40 in the BWCA in January. The money for this trip includes a $25 donation. Any extra money given to this trip goes to fight the Polymet mine.

NOTE: The final destination and route of this trip will not be known until approximately a week before we leave. We will not know where Dave and Amy are until then.
