Description:Early September should be a great time to hike along the banks of the Missisippi in Hidden Falls Park and Crosby Park in southwest St Paul. Meet at 7:00 p.m. near the picnic shelter at the North Hidden Falls entrance on Mississippi Blvd. (Look for the German Shepherd Dog.) We’ll hike until we run out of daylight. Mosquitos can be thick along the river. Plan accordingly. Hike will be some asphalt trails, but mostly packed sand along the river. After the hike, we’ll stop for refreshments at the DQ on Ford Parkway and/or the Chatterbox Pub at Ford and Cleveland. Friendly, well behaved dogs encouraged.
