Let’s celebrate the end of summer with a fun day trip up north! We will carpool to Jay Cooke State Park for a morning hike (about 3-4 miles), stop for a picnic lunch, and then go whitewater rafting on the St Louis River. On the way home, we’ll stop for dinner at the Lazy Bear Grill in Barnum. No experience is necessary as the outfitters do a great job of training everyone and providing a guide and gear.
To sign up, you must both (1) send an email/text to Shelby J. and (2) register/pay for your spot for the Monday, September 2, 2024, 2:00 PM Whitewater Rafting – St Louis River trip at https://swiftwatermn.com/ ($68 incl. taxes/fees.) Don’t wait, as I do not reserve your raft seats, so it’s first-come, first-serve. Be sure to read all the safety instructions, what to wear, and other information on their website before the trip.
