Hiking at Battle Creek Regional Park

Wed, 5:00amAug 112010
Description:

We will hike about 3.5 miles on paved bike/walking trails along Battle Creek. Meet at the parking lot on Point Douglas Road at 7:00 p.m.This is a nice hike through a forested area, where you can feel like you are out in the woods even though you are still right in St. Paul! This is an out and back hike, so you can hike a shorter distance if you choose and the group will find you on the way back. There will be ice cream and socializing afterwards.

Directions to Battle Creek Regional Park: To get there, take Hwy 61 to Lower Afton Rd. Go east on Lower Afton and take the first left on Point Douglas Rd. The parking lot is at the end of the road. Estimated cost: free.
