Meet at Lowry Nature Center’s parking lot and start hiking at 7:00 p.m. The trails are unpaved and can be buggy, so be prepared. The trails take us through and around woodlands and wetlands. In the past there have been nesting Trumpeter Swans, Deer, and lots of other wildlife to enjoy (ticks, mosquitoes, etc). After the hike we could enjoy refreshments at a Dairy Queen near by! Check out Three Rivers Park District’s website for location and trail map. Membership is not needed for a day trip. Estimated cost: Dairy Queen!
