MN Rovers Community Hike — Western Duluth / Spirit Mountain Area

🥾 Distance & duration: ~5 miles / ~2.5 hours (conditions and group flow dependent)
We’ll hike a loop route with roughly half on Waabizheshikana (The Marten Trail) and half on the Munger Trail, creating a mix of singletrack and wider trail walking. Expect mixed winter surfaces and variable footing.

(Includes sections of the Munger Trail)
🅿️ Parking:
Park across the street on RiverWest Drive, directly opposite the Burnett Dairy Cheese Store (creamery) parking lot.

Rover notes:
-
This is not a race — we’ll keep a group-aware pace and regroup as needed
-
You’re welcome to join for any part of the hike or opt out of the post-hike
-
Participation looks different for everyone; presence is enough
If weather or trail conditions change, we’ll adapt — flexibility is part of the Rover spirit.
