- Max Trip Size: 12 people
Come along for a medium-paced loop hike on both sides of the Mississippi River, about 7 miles long, going by Hidden Falls, Minnehaha Creek, and Ft Snelling. This is not a beginner’s hike; we will be keeping a moderate pace. Much of the hike will be on pavement, but we will go off-pavement when we can, which may include climbing over logs or a bit of scrambling. We will also go from the bluff to the river & back at least 3 times, which means hills or stairs. Bring a great attitude, water, snacks (optional), and dress according to the weather.
We will meet at the corner of East River Blvd and Prior Ave South, which is the south entrance gate for Hidden Falls Regional Park, located HERE. Please plan ahead; we plan to leave on time.
We will stop for a snack break about halfway through the hike.
A limited number of well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please contact me if you plan to bring a dog.
Non-Rovers are welcome if they submit the online liability waiver below.
Please send me an email or text if you are planning to come in case there are last-minute changes.
See you on the trails!
