Description:

“Ancient lava flows, deep gorges and spectacular waterfalls make Copper Falls one of Wisconsin’s most scenic parks. Log cabins built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s add to the park’s charm.” (Park website).  The park offers 17 miles of hiking trails (including part of the North Country National Scenic Trail), a swimming beach, 4.5 miles of off-road bike trails, and paddling opportunities on Loon Lake for those with boats.  The park is 25 miles south of Ashland.

We have the group site reserved for both nights.  Meals will be on your own, except for a potluck planned for Saturday evening.

A Wisconsin State Park vehicle admission sticker is required.
