- Max Trip Size: 12 people
We’ll explore 4–5 miles (about 2 hours) of mostly trail with some paved sections through the beautiful Spring Lake Park Reserve. This park is a designated stop along the 3,000-mile Great River Road, offering miles of bluff-top views overlooking the Mississippi River. Along the way, we’ll keep an eye out for one of the park’s most unique features—a bison herd reintroduced to the reserve in the prairie between trailheads.
After the hike, those interested can join us for lunch at the nearby (~6 miles) Hastings American Legion (Post 47) where we can relax on the patio with more great river views.
This event is perfect for new members and those curious about the Minnesota Rovers!
