Almost Spring! Join me for a early afternoon hike in Whitetail Woods Regional Park. We will do a moderately paced 4 -5 mile walk/hike on the park’s paved trail around the lake and other trails. It could be gusty, so you might want a hat and gloves. Some of the trails are paved but some are woodchip. There might be mud due to thawing and warm weather.
Whitetail Woods Regional Park, 17100 Station Trail, Farmington, MN 55024
Located just south of Rosemount on Highway 3 (north/south). Drive south of Rosemount on Highway 3 to a roundabout and then go east on 170th St. W., to Station Trail south and into the park. Meet at the main parking area in the park near the picnic shelter – drive all the way to the end of the entrance road to a large parking lot. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start at 1:00 pm. There is a shelter with restrooms just up the hill from the parking lot.
We will assemble at the map kiosk at the west end of the parking lot by the benches.
