Howl With Wolves Overnight — Wildlife Science Center, Stacy, MN

Category: Camping

Sat, 12:00pm - 3:00amOct 72017
Description:

Ever wanted to howl at the moon? Ever wanted to howl with a pack of wolves? We can do just that on an overnight at the Wildlife Science Center (WSC), just north of the Twin Cities near Stacy. This is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in Minnesota wildlife, photographers or families to learn more about the predators in our state.
We’ll spend the night in the safety of the common area, while surrounded by more than 40 wolves and other wildlife (kept in secure enclosures). Naturalists will introduce us to the wolves, bears, mountain lions, lynx, raptors and other wildlife that live at the WSC. We’ll have a bonfire in the evening and sleep in tents. We’ll cook our own breakfast in the morning, then have another presentation by the WSC naturalists. We can depart after the presentation in the morning or stay for the WSC’s Harvest Howl event. WSC staff will be on site at all times during our overnight.
Family members are welcome at this event. More information will follow as the date gets closer. From 7 p.m. on October 6th until 10 a.m. on October 7th.
Deposits ($35) accepted in check (made out to Wildlife Science Center) or cash, no credit cards. Contact Audrey for details.
