Rovers will meet with Three Rivers Parks Natural Resources staff and other volunteers to pull invasive narrow-leaf bittercress at Hyland Park in Bloomington, followed by dinner / social time. Narrow-leaf bittercress is worse than garlic mustard with explosive seeds that can spray 15 feet in every direction, but it is just getting started in MN and can still be contained! We’ll pull those nasty weeds from 5:30 – 7:30 and then head to CW’s Bar and Grill (https://cwsbarandgrill.com/).
Meet at Richardson Nature Center at 8737 E Bush Lake Rd, Bloomington, MN at 5:15pm. You may want to bring water, bug spray, a snack if not going to dinner, and/or gloves. Bathrooms available in the Nature Center before we start.
CW’s for dinner is located at 8301 Normandale Boulevard, Bloomington, MN.
Please RSVP to my email if possible so I can give a rough head count to Three Rivers and the restaurant. Last minute works too though! Non-members need to fill out the waiver below.
