Wed, 6:00pm - 8:30pmMay 222019
  • Estimated Cost: $25
  • Deposit: $25

Description:

Bicycle touring allows you to explore slow roads, bike trails, and campgrounds that could be nearby, in different states, or different countries. At the least, this involves carrying what you need for an overnight stay, and at the most, you can carry everything you need for weeks, including camping gear. This workshop will show how to get started with low-cost gear and routes that are simple and scenic.

Steven Malikowski will lead this workshop and use his experience with bike touring in the US, UK, and EU. People in the workshop will be invited to join weekend bike tours this summer. The workshop is offered through Minneapolis Community Education. To sign up for the class, complete the online form at https://tinyurl.com/BikeTouring519. The $25 cost should be paid to Minneapolis Community Education, which determined the cost.

Coordinator(s):
Steven M.
