Description:

Calling all Rovers with kids, grandkids, or nieces and nephews! Please join me in the winter wonderland of Itasca State Park President’s Day Weekend 2023.  This trip will focused on elementary age children– meaning we will coordinate kid friendly snow shoeing, cross country skiing, sledding, and playing in the snow for kids ages approximately 5-12. All ages are welcome, including grown up who love teaching kids to get out and enjoy the snow.

Accommodations: Four Season Suites at Itasca State Park.  The suites are all located in the same building with sets of two suites adjoining.  Each suite a room with two queen size beds and a small adjoining kitchenette / living area.   Cross country ski trails start in the parking lot of the suites and snowshoeing abounds!

To keep the trip kid focused, 3 four of the 6 cabins will be reserved for members brining kids until January 1st.  The other 3 cabins are open to everyone and I’ll open any spots reserved for kids up to everyone after January 1st.
